And so to Newcastle to speak at the Ig Noble UK tour. Once at the Centre for Life we the speakers were delivered to the green room for refreshments and thence to the Centre for Life Science Wall of Fame where we were asked to sign our names.
The wall read like a who's who of international science - and me. I managed to squeezed my signature in between Bill Bryon and Richard Dawkins.
Thanks to all the people who came to the event. And thanks of course to Marc Abrahams for inviting me.

I was in the audience at the Centre for Life and felt privileged to be in the presence of such great scientific minds ... loved the pie-chart on drawbacks of paper-based computer ... had to go home for a really strong cup of coffee!!
